When people first come to POVA, we don’t want anyone to feel like they’re guessing at what’s next. We help people take next steps at their own pace—no pressure, no mystery. For that reason, we have a quick orientation class every Sunday after church and a monthly membership class.
Our church gathers in Family Groups—small communities that meet throughout the week to grow in faith and life together. Each group has its own rhythm and style, but all of them focus on building real relationships, learning to follow Jesus, and helping each other grow step by step.
In these groups, we talk about Scripture and how it applies to everyday life, pray for one another, and look for practical ways to serve. Discipleship here is simple and relational—you don’t have to have it all together to join us. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with God for years, Family Groups offer a place to belong, grow, and walk with others who are learning to follow Jesus in real life.
