At POVA Church, we welcome you into a friendly, casual environment. We encourage you to dress comfortably. From Sunday worship services to Small Groups and personal Bible studies, we invite you to join us to experience the gospel on an intellectual and relational level every week!
Services typically begin with a time of singing and praise, followed by a message. We use a variety of musical styles to appeal to a wide range of people. The message is based on a passage of Scripture and is designed to help you grow in your faith and understanding of God. There is also an opportunity for you to give tithes and offerings during the service and take communion with us weekly. We have small groups for all life stages, and Intermittent worship nights.
This page will help you find more details about what to expect when you come to visit. The only thing to do from here is come as you are!
Our goal is to worship God with sincere hearts. We love to worship with contemporary and traditional songs.
We have both their physical safety and their spiritual health in mind because they are the next generation of faith. We have a carefully and critically chosen staff that offers a safe space and age-specific teaching (for ages 9 months - 5th grade). For our older kids, the Middle School (6-8th grade) and Teens (9-12th grade) will join us for worship and then have their classes as announced.
New Here! Orientation - First time visiting? Just moved-in? Want to join our community or interested in membership? Then this class is for you!
Directly after service every Sunday.
Every Sunday our in-house cafe will serve coffee and pastries starting at 10:30 am
We believe giving is at the heart of the message of the Gospel. The word of God instructs us that when we give the first fruit to his church with joyful hearts, we are making God our priority and putting him first in our lives. Additionally, 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver,” showing us that giving freely-- not out of reluctant duty but instead out of gracious joy-- is pleasing to God and everyone in our church community is encouraged to do so.
